Friction occurring in the area of contact between sheet metal and tool forming is one factors determining quality surface drawpiece formability workpiece. Knowledge friction conditions allows optimal to be determined terms lubrication applied pressures. The article presents results experimental studies EN AW-2024-T3 Alclad sheets using a special device simulating sheet–tool blank-holder during SMF. tests were carried out at various pressures, under dry friction, with use typical oils wide range viscosity. effect process parameters on COF roughness Rsk Rku was analysed analysis variance. model F-values imply that regression models for all output significant. A monotonic decrease an increase mean pressure lubricant viscosity observed both lubricated conditions. DELVAC 1340 engine oil highest significantly lowered COF. efficiency LAN46 machine LVH22 hydraulic showed upward trend increasing pressure. In general, reduces value average roughness, Ra, skewness, Rsk. Meanwhile, pressures (4.4–11.7 MPa) causes kurtosis, Rku.
